Curriculum Matrices & Assessments
The Common Core Assessment and Diagnostic Matrices were based upon the California Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics. The work of the assessment matrices began 8 years ago as the District aligned instructional protocols to impact student achievement and learning. With the onset of the Common Core standards, Lynwood Unified began the transition from the retired California State Standards for ELA and math to the CCSS. The production of the Assessment and Diagnostic Matrices are a result of teacher input and collaboration.
