Employee Associations & Union Contracts
Lynwood Unified School District is proud to collaborate with three employee associations that play an essential role in supporting our workforce and promoting a positive, respectful working environment for all staff.
-
Lynwood Teachers Association (LTA): Represents our certificated educators, including classroom teachers, counselors, and other instructional staff. LTA advocates for professional development, fair working conditions, and the success of both students and educators.
-
California School Employees Association (CSEA), Chapter 116: Represents classified employees such as office staff, instructional aides, custodians, and other vital support personnel. CSEA is committed to protecting the rights of classified staff and enhancing the quality of public education through strong support services.
-
Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 99: Represents specialized classified employees, including nutrition services workers, bus drivers, and campus safety staff. SEIU advocates for equitable wages, benefits, and working conditions that support the health and well-being of school communities.
Lynwood Unified values the partnership and collaboration of these unions in building a strong, student-centered district where every employee is respected and empowered.
