Facilities & Bond Measures

About Measures K, N & U

Over the past decade, Lynwood voters have shown strong support for our schools by approving three facilities bonds: Measure K ($93 million in 2012), Measure N ($65 million in 2016), and Measure U bond ($80 million in 2024). These funds are essential for repairing, modernizing, and improving Lynwood Unified School District campuses.

Measures K and N have been used to upgrade existing facilities and build new learning spaces, while Measure U will focus on enhancing security, upgrading classrooms and technology, improving athletic facilities, and making critical repairs to aging buildings.

Thanks to these bonds and additional grants, Lynwood Unified has completed major renovations, replaced outdated systems, and revitalized campuses with modern, student-centered facilities. Our Facilities Master Plan helps us assess school needs and prioritize future projects, ensuring every site operates at its fullest potential.

We are deeply grateful to the Lynwood community for its continued investment in our students. Together, we are building safe, inspiring, and well-equipped schools that will serve generations to come.
