Sun Bucks
Summer Grocery Benefits for KidsSUN Bucks (Summer EBT) helps families buy groceries for their children during the summer months when school meals are not available.Eligible children can receive: $120 per child ($40 per month for June, July, and August 2026)Benefits are loaded onto a California EBT card that can be used to purchase healthy food at participating stores.
Who Qualifies for SUN Bucks?
Most eligible families are automatically enrolled if their child:
- Receives SNAP (CalFresh), TANF (CalWORKs), or FDPIR benefits
- Is identified as homeless, in foster care, or part of a migrant family
- Meets income eligibility guidelines
If your child is automatically eligible, you do not need to apply.
Need to Apply?
If you are NOT automatically enrolled, you may still qualify by completing a:
Universal Benefits Application (UBA)
Families only need to submit one application per household.
