- Assessed and demonstrated proficiency in Spanish literacy through the i-Ready Spanish Diagnóstico, or
- Newcomer from a country where Spanish is the primary language and able to demonstrate grade-level proficiency in Spanish.
Commitment Form Required
Once your child is accepted into the program, families are required to sign a Commitment Form confirming they understand how the DLI program works and are committed to supporting their child’s long-term success in the program (ideally through 6th grade).
If a family chooses to exit the program before completing the full instructional cycle, they will be asked to participate in a Student Study Team (SST) meeting to review the student’s progress and any needed interventions, and/or complete an Early Exit Form, if appropriate.
If you have any questions, we’re here to help guide you through the process! Let’s get started on your child’s bilingual journey.
