Superintendent's Community Message | June 7, 2026

As we prepare to close the 2025-26 school year, I have been reflecting on what this year has represented for Lynwood Unified: a year of transition, connection, progress and shared commitment to our students. With the last day of school on Thursday, June 11, we enter a meaningful week of celebrations that honor our students’ growth and the next steps in their journeys.

This week, we proudly celebrate our eighth-grade promotion ceremonies as students prepare for the transition to high school. This milestone reflects the learning, maturity and confidence they have developed throughout middle school, and we are excited to see them continue growing as leaders and scholars in Lynwood Unified.
