Firebaugh Students Earn $1,000 Maywood Education Fair Scholarship

Five Firebaugh High School students received a $1,000 Maywood Education Fair Scholarship. The scholarship is provided by the California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) Master of Science in Higher Education (MSHE) program in collaboration with the CSUF College of Education, the CSUF Center for Research and Education Access and Leadership (C-REAL).

Isabella Mitchell is a senior with a 3.22 GPA, and an accomplished student who has taken many Advanced Placement (AP) program courses. She is also a part of Firebaugh High School’s Associated Student Body and music program.

Mikael Feiga is a senior with a 3.13 GPA, and a part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) program. She was part of Firebaugh’s Associated Student Body and is part of Firebaugh’s young Black Achievers Club.

Julianna Sanchez-Provost is a senior with a 3.9 GPA, and a part of the IB and AP programs. She is also part of Firebaugh High School’s AVID program

Elijah Arch is a senior who he is currently part of the Film and Video Production CTE Pathway and plays basketball for the Firebaugh Falcons.

Matthew Mendez has a 3.8 GPA and is also part of the Film and Video Production CTE Pathway.
