Congratulations to Vista High School teacher Mr. Mario Castro who played in the US Air Force Academy marching band during the 2022 Rose Bowl Parade! Mr. Castro has inspired Lynwood Unified students as band director and is part of a long history between Lynwood and the Rose Bowl Parade. The pictured Lynwood "Mechanical Age" float is from the parade back in 1940.
