The Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation, Lynwood Unified School District, the City of Lynwood and Aztlan Athletics partnered to host the Lynwood 5K Run/Walk on May 21 to raise money for LUSD scholars.
Nearly 500 participants joined the race which started and ended at Lynwood City Hall and included Superintendent Gudiel R. Crosthwaite, the Board of Education, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon, and elected leaders from the City of Lynwood.
