Lynwood Unified Hosts “Inspire” College and Career Fair

Lynwood Unified on Feb. 10 hosted an “Inspire” College and Career Fair at Firebaugh High School, providing graduating seniors an exciting opportunity to explore pathways to their future.

The College and Career Fair served as a valuable tool for students who may not be on the traditional four-year university pathway and are still exploring what they want to do after graduation, whether that’s attending a community college or pursuing a vocation.

Seniors from Firebaugh, Lynwood and Vista high schools met with representatives from organizations and colleges, including America's Job Center, Long Beach City College, Amazon, Cerritos College, Caltrans, Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation and more.

“It was just really refreshing to know that we have different options as students,” Firebaugh student Airad Reyes said.

By providing students with resources and access to local employers and hiring agencies, Lynwood Unified is committed to opening doors to opportunities and inspiring students to start designing their futures.
