VIDEO: Behind-the-Scenes Work Paves the Way for Next Phase of Construction at Lynwood High School Imperial Campus
Teams have been working diligently to submit to the state for various approvals and reimbursement for the different phases of the project. Further environmental testing on the soil is currently underway before moving to the next phase, which includes opening bids for contractors and starting the deep soil mixing process this fall.

The soil Stabilization process has been completed, with the construction bidding process set to begin in August 2024.

While most of the above-ground work has been completed, demolition crews will continue to remove deep concrete foundations and columns that exist underground.
Demolition of Lynwood High School Imperial Campus Building Expected to be Complete in February
The work to prepare the soil for the building’s foundation is scheduled to begin later this summer. Once the foundation work is complete, construction of the new 175,000-square-foot building will begin.
