Bond Measures K, N and U
About Measures K, N & U
In November 2012, the City of Lynwood voters approved a $93 million Measure K facilities bond, followed by the approval of a $65 million Measure N facilities bond in November 2016, and the $80 million Measure U bond in November 2024. These bonds provide essential funding for the renovation, repair, and modernization of our Lynwood Unified School District schools.
Measure K and N bond proceeds are exclusively used to improve existing facilities or construct new school buildings. Measure U projects will enhance security systems, upgrade classrooms and technology, improve athletic facilities, and make critical repairs to aging infrastructure. Lynwood Unified is committed to responsibly managing these funds that the community is investing in our schools and ensuring all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
We recognize the importance of providing students with safe and comfortable learning environments that support their continued growth. Lynwood Unified extends its heartfelt thanks to the community for supporting Measures K, N and U. These enhancements will benefit generations of Lynwood children.
