Lynwood High School Reconstruction Updates

On June 16, 2020, a portion of ceiling soffits at a three-story classroom building at Lynwood High School on Imperial collapsed due to major structural failures. The District inspected the entire campus to ensure the safety of students and staff, relocating them to a nearby campus on Bullis Road after inspectors determined that the entire structure had to be reconstructed.

On July 8, 2022, after more than two years of working and lobbying for support, we were pleased to announce that the state allocated $250 million in financial support to restore the LHS Imperial Campus.

We are committed to keeping our community informed throughout the construction process. Regular updates will be provided on our website and through our communication channels to ensure transparency and address any questions or concerns. We appreciate your patience and support as we embark on this exciting journey to improve our educational facilities.
