After School Programs

The Lynwood Unified School District has a federally funded ASES grant which supports our after school programs. The district has two program options at our elementary schools, Think Together and LEAP. At the middle school level, the Think Together program operates in our schools. These programs operate daily after school, including early release days.

As part of the ASES grant requirements, these programs operate to provide our students with homework assistance, enrichment, and physical education. In order to enhance our students experiences, enrichment services such as B.R.I.D.G.E. Theatre, STEM, Karate, and Ballet are provided. Please complete the application below and submit to the district office, Department of Elementary Education.

The 21st Century Expanded Learning Grant funded through the California Department of Education provides funding for Summer Enrichment Programs to prevent Summer Learning Loss, as well as additional After School Programming that runs parallel to ASES. The 21st Century grant is awarded for 5 years at $850,000.00 a year. THINK Together is our dedicated community based organization that provides services based on 21st Century Grant Funding.
